Morson are working with an aerospace Manufacturer who are looking for a diligent and organised Production Controller to join the team in Wolverhampton.

This role is pivotal in managing and controlling the production schedule to ensure smooth and timely manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for progress chasing, tracking parts throughout the production cycle, and maintaining accurate production schedules. You will work closely with various departments to ensure materials and resources are available to meet production deadlines, while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

The role requires full-time onsite presence, with a focus on utilising SAP and Microsoft Office Suite to support production planning and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and update production schedules to meet operational targets
  • Track and chase progress of parts and materials to avoid delays
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of components
  • Monitor production workflow and report any deviations or issues promptly
  • Use SAP to manage production orders and material requirements
  • Prepare and present reports using Microsoft Office tools to support decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the production environment

Skills:

  • SAP experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
