Reporting directly to the MP&L Manager, you will be instrumental in providing effective and efficient purchasing strategies that directly contribute to the company's ability to meet its customer delivery commitments (OTIF). - Streamline the supply chain by reducing supplier lead times without compromising quality.
- Cultivate strong supplier relationships, monitoring performance through KPIs and reviews to ensure optimal value.
- Proactively identify and implement cost-saving initiatives within the existing supplier network.
What You'll Bring:
- Demonstrable experience as a Buyer, Senior Buyer, or Project Buyer within a manufacturing setting.
- Exceptional negotiation abilities and a deep understanding of commercial agreements.
- A strong grasp of manufacturing principles and practices.
- The capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- A successful track record of purchasing a variety of materials, components, and parts.
- Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced).
