We are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional sales administrator to join our team at our local storage facility. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for customers and visitors, responsible for managing the reception area, answering calls, and providing excellent customer service. In addition to reception duties, the candidate will also assist in managing a sales pipeline and working towards sales targets, with opportunities to earn commission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Answer and direct telephone calls, taking messages as necessary.
  • Manage emails, enquiries, and other forms of communication.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing records.
  • Handle booking and scheduling of storage units for customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organised reception area.
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Assist with general customer queries, providing information on available storage options.
  • Create, maintain, and manage a sales pipeline to identify potential new business opportunities.
  • Work towards achieving sales targets, with commission available for meeting goals.
  • Assist in promoting the facility’s services and special offers to potential customers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade C or above.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer literacy; able to work with basic office software and storage management systems.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • No prior sales experience is necessary, but willingness to work on sales and meet targets is required.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a sales pipeline and follow up with leads.
