Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, in line with the national curriculum.
  • Motivate and engage students of varying abilities to develop a strong understanding and appreciation of mathematics.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted support where necessary.
  • Collaborate with the department to develop resources and maintain high standards.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including parent evenings and CPD sessions.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 and KS4).
  • Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
  • A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and challenge students.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
