This gorgeous home resides in the beautiful, rural, and affluent village of Wombourne, on a large 5.5-acre plot of land. Home to four young people aged 13-17, and an incredibly hard-working therapy-dog-in-training! Three of the young people are very settled, in full time education and striving towards personal goals. The fourth young person is new to the home and is working towards integrating into school. The young people greatly enjoy taking walks around country National Trust parks, and days out at theme parks with their Merlin Passes.
The organisation is family-run and directed by an incredibly experienced Clinical Psychologist with expertise in working with young people that have experienced severe trauma, neglect, and neurodiversity. The home has been praised by Ofsted for its ‘Outstanding’ rated leadership in its most recent inspection and has commended staff for their ‘exceptionally positive relationships’ with children. As per their last Ofsted inspection: ‘Leaders and managers are inspirational, confident, ambitious and child focussed’.
