  • Ideally hold a recognised Assessor award (not essential, as our client will put the successful candidate through the Assessor qualification!) 
  • Hold occupational competency within Health and Social Care at Management level.
  • Hold a minimum of a Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Confident to support learners with Maths and English Functional Skills (as required).
  • Must have a good level of ICT skills
  • Confident with classroom / small group-based delivery
  • Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel. 
Duties include:
  • Assess and support learners working through Short Courses, and full Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care up to Level 5, including Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
  • Delivering training and support within the learners’ place of work and within a classroom / workshop setting.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
