The Role - Test Systems Technician

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Test Equipment Technician to join a rapidly growing aerospace business with some incredible new projects coming through.

As a result, the Test Systems Engineering function will need to grow opening an excellent opportunity for someone to join the team.

This is a hands-on role supporting the delivery of bespoke Test Equipment to validate mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, and power distribution components.

Duties - Test Systems Technician

• Commission new Test Equipment in line with technical requirements
• Support mechanical and electrical assembly tasks
• Lead integration and formal verification testing
• Facilitate customer validation and correlation testing activities
• Annotate part and assembly drawings to reflect ‘as built’ condition
• Independently troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Support calibration procedure development and facility readiness

Background - Test Systems Technician

• HNC/HND or equivalent in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
• Apprenticeship-trained background (advantageous)
• Experience with Test Systems or Test Equipment commissioning
• Ability to interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
