Are you a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are working with a welcoming primary school in Wolverhampton who are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with autism, starting in September 2025.
The Role:-
Providing consistent 1:1 support to a child with autism in an Early Years setting

Supporting the child's learning, communication, and social development

Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals

Implementing tailored strategies and interventions to meet individual needs

Ensuring a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment

Previous experience supporting children with autism or SEN in a school or nursery setting

A patient, calm, and empathetic approach

Good understanding of early childhood development and SEN strategies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE or equivalent) is desirable
