Due to company expansion, we are recruiting for an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to cover client sites in the Midlands. Applicants must hold robust technical knowledge in addition to a strong work history. You will be joining a UKAS accredited outfit, with an exemplary reputation and fantastic further development opportunities. Applicants will be expected to discuss technical matters directly with clients, so excellent interpersonal skills would be essential. Experience / Qualifications:
- Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 & P404 qualification, or RSPH equivalent
- Strong hands-on experience undertaking the full range of asbestos surveys and analytical duties
- Will have worked within a UKAS accredited company
- Fully conversant in HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
- Professional manner
- Strong IT and literacy skills
The Role:
- Undertaking thorough asbestos Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys
- Completing personal, leak, smoke, background and re-assurance air testing
- Conducting 4 Stage Clearances
- Producing detailed technical reports
- Collecting ACM samples from sites
- Ensuring asbestos removal projects run in accordance with industry guidelines
- Working on a wide range of removals projects
- Representing the company in a professional manner
