Key responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, leading financial forecasting, and managing VAT returns and audit preparation.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, be proficient in Excel and accounting systems, and have experience managing or mentoring a small team.

This is a pivotal role offering broad responsibility, the chance to contribute to strategic decisions, and the opportunity to manage and develop a small team.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly management accounts, including group consolidations and detailed financial analysis
Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to analyse cost and revenue drivers
Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting
Analyse title and product performance, stock movement, and profitability
Deliver accurate cash flow forecasting and oversee banking activities
Manage VAT returns, audit preparation, and statutory compliance
Support the delivery of financial reports to senior management and the board
Continuously improve financial processes and internal controls
Provide leadership, development, and support to a small finance team

What We’re Looking For:

Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)
Proven experience in management accounting and financial planning
Commercially minded with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Excel and accounting systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, adaptable and able to manage busy periods with a positive approach
Experience managing or mentoring a small team is essential
