We are seeking a driven and ambitious Company Accountant who is part-qualified or fully qualified in CIMA or ACCA. This role is perfect for someone eager to develop their skills further in accounting and contribute significantly to our finance team.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Manage credit risk and set up new customer accounts.
  • Perform variance analysis to understand differences between actual and budgeted figures.
  • Contribute to the development of internal control policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with auditors as required.
  • Help in the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.
  • Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Part-qualified or qualified in CIMA or ACCA, with a commitment to complete the qualification.
  • Experience in a role with exposure to management accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Driven and ambitious, with a strong desire to learn and progress within the company.
