Location: Woodbridge, Suffolk
Contract: 6 Months (Potential to become Permanent)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £50,000 per annum

Our client, a respected contractor specialising in social housing refurbishment, is seeking an experienced Site Manager / Project Manager to oversee the delivery of 10 refurbishment projects on military-owned properties in the Woodbridge area.

This role will see you managing works on site from start to finish, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You will liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations across multiple refurbishment projects.
• Ensure health & safety standards are always maintained.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality standards.
• Maintain clear communication with the client and project stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Site Manager or Project Manager role within construction/refurbishment.
• SMSTS certification.
• First Aid at Work qualification.
• Manual Handling, Fire Marshall, and Asbestos Awareness training.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.

Desirable:

• DSS Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Experience in military or MOD property projects.
