Contract Type: Part-Time | Long-Term Placement
Pay: 82.02 - 96.96 per day (Dependent on experience and hours worked)

Simply Education is working with a friendly and supportive village primary school on the outskirts of Lincoln (LN5 area) to recruit a caring and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant. This part-time role is set to begin in September 2025 and is a fantastic opportunity to provide tailored support to a child within a mainstream classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs, helping them access learning and daily routines.
Work closely with the class teacher to implement tailored strategies and interventions.
Monitor and record the child's progress, offering feedback and suggestions to the wider team.
Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that helps the child feel safe, engaged, and confident.
Adapt learning resources and activities to meet individual needs.
Build a strong and trusting relationship with the pupil to support their academic and emotional development.
Liaise with parents and staff to ensure consistency and progress.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis, ideally within a school setting.
A patient, compassionate, and flexible approach.
A strong understanding of SEN support within mainstream education.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently when needed.
A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
