- We are partnering with a leading business in the food manufacturing industry to find a Senior Quality Manager.

- The successful candidate will lead the Quality team, manage technical and quality requirements, and ensure the business is audit-ready.
- The position offers a salary range of £45,000 to £50,000 and requires previous experience working with major UK retailers.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, along with a proactive approach to support the Technical Manager.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, you will be a key member of the site leadership team and act as deputy in their absence. You'll be responsible for leading the Quality team, managing all technical and quality requirements across the site, and ensuring the business remains fully audit ready.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and develop the Quality team, ensuring high standards and consistent performance.
-Manage the internal audit system and Quality Management System (QMS).
-Take the lead on customer and BRC audits, ensuring compliance at all times.
-Support the Technical Manager in delivering technical requirements and projects.
-Drive continuous improvement across site technical standards.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams as part of the site management group.
-Maintain strong working relationships with key retail customers.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in a Quality or Technical leadership role.
-Strong knowledge of BRC standards and HACCP systems.
-Previous experience working with major UK retailers is essential.
-Demonstrable ability to lead, manage, and develop a team.
-Strong communicator with excellent collaboration skills.
-A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to step up in the absence of the Technical Manager.
Salary: 45,000 - 50,000
