Job Responsibilities

  • Handle a comprehensive range of local government commercial conveyancing work.

  • Manage landlord and tenant matters, primarily under the 1954 Act.

  • Oversee the sale and purchase of land transactions.

  • Potential involvement in some residential conveyancing, excluding Right to Buy (RTB) cases.

  • Collaborate effectively within a remote working environment, with an initial expectation of spending one or two full days in the office, followed by visits every three to four weeks.

Person Specifications

  • Proven experience in commercial conveyancing within a local government context.

  • Strong understanding of landlord and tenant legislation, particularly the 1954 Act.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote setting.

  • Willingness to travel to the office periodically as required.
