Looking to grow your horticultural career in a high-tech, large-scale nursery?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's largest young plant propagation nurseries, producing hundreds of millions of plants annually.

The business is expanding, and they're looking for a Grower to join the team. If you're already a grower looking for the next step, there's an opportunity to create a bigger role.

Ideally, you'll have some propagation experience, but if you're an enthusiastic commercial grower without propagation knowledge, we want to hear from you. This role offers full training, long-term development, and the chance to be part of something exciting.

The Role

As a Grower, you'll work across across all areas of this horticulture nursery, supporting senior growers and overseeing the full crop production cycle. From pest monitoring to irrigation and machinery, you'll be involved in every stage of the growing process.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a clear pathway to a bigger career.

Day-to-Day You'll Be:

  • Overseeing crop care, including irrigation, pest and disease monitoring, and general husbandry
  • Supporting the implementation of biological, environmental, and cultural controls
  • Learning to operate machinery, including seeding lines.
  • Collaborating with growers, production, and dispatch teams
  • Maintain glasshouse environments and crop hygiene.
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
  • Getting involved in new projects and supporting the nursery expand and diversify.

What You'll Need:

  • A qualification in horticulture (ideally with a commercial production focus) or hands-on propagation experience.
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to support occasional weekend work.
