The Role
We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 3 to 5 and contribute fully to the department's academic and co-curricular work. You will be expected to bring creativity, subject expertise and a passion for performance to the classroom and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Drama lessons across KS3 to KS5

  • Support and direct school productions, clubs and enrichment activities

  • Monitor and assess student achievement, providing feedback to support progression

  • Contribute to curriculum development and the promotion of drama across the school

  • Participate fully in the school’s co-curricular and pastoral life

Person Specification
Essential

  • A degree in Drama or a related subject

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4; KS5 desirable

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning

Desirable

  • Experience in a selective or high-performing school setting

  • Involvement in school productions or directing performances

  • Strong academic background and understanding of exam board requirements
