We’re hiring for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join a thriving business in Glossop on a 6 month temporary contract, playing a key role in ensuring the financial operations run smoothly.

You’ll be an important part of the finance team, helping to manage customer accounts, maintain accurate records, and keep the cash flow moving – supporting the wider success of the business.

What will you be doing as a Sales Ledger Clerk?

  • Processing and reconciling customer payments
  • Liaising with customers regarding payments, queries, and account management
  • Handling refunds, credit notes, debit notes, and reforms
  • Supporting the finance team in preparing for the annual audit
  • Managing regular reconciliations across accounts
  • Processing invoices and ensuring adherence to payment terms
  • Providing additional administrative support to the wider finance team

What do you need?

  • Previous experience working in a sales ledger or accounts receivable role
  • Experience working within a wholesale, supply chain, or manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a busy workload
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and internal teams
