Group Financial Accountant
SF Recruitment are working exclusively with a Worcester based business in the recruitment of a Group Financial Accountant - December start. Remote/1 day per week in the office so you will need to live within an hour of Worcester.
Our client are an SME businesses and due to growth, they are seeking a group financial accountant who is available on short notice to start by mid December within a permanent position.
Reporting to the MD Key duties will include:
Maintaining and enhancing timely Group reporting to Group MD and shareholder
Overseeing statutory financial reporting and general business compliance requirements for group companies.
Maintaining Head Office cash forecasts
Group Statutory Audit process lead (FRS102)
Group Banking Administration
Group Insurance process lead
Support of Company secretarial activities UK & US
Develop and deliver a group wide balance sheet audit and review process.
Skills / Experience
UK qualified accountant with ideally 8-10 years post qualification experience
Manufacturing / Engineering business experience ideal but not essential
External / Internal audit experience - desirable
Attention to detail and focus of accuracy.
Strong excel / analytics skills
Salary £60,000-£65,000
Remote working with 1 day per week on average in the office
The successful candidate must be able to start by mid December so immediately available/2 week notice periods maximum are essential for this role
