We're partnering with a successful, growing group to recruit a talented Group Financial Accountant. This role will be pivotal in delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting across the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong accountant who enjoys both the numbers and the people side of finance, building relationships across multiple subsidiaries while ensuring the integrity of group-wide reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality consolidated group financial reports in line with deadlines.
- Manage the group consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Act as a key liaison with subsidiary finance teams, building strong working relationships to improve the flow of information and understanding of results.
- Support the application and compliance of accounting standards, including IFRS16.
- Provide insightful analysis to support business decision-making.
- Assist with continuous improvement projects in reporting processes and systems.
About You:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in group consolidations and group reporting.
- Strong understanding of IFRS
- Excellent interpersonal skills - able to build rapport with finance teams across multiple locations.
- Detail-oriented with a commercial mindset.
