This is a great opportunity to provide vital support to a team working directly with children, young people, and their families. This role requires a flexible and proactive individual with a strong sense of professionalism and a commitment to supporting vulnerable children and families.Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out statutory checks including DBS, medicals, and references
  • Minute team meetings and manage meeting logistics
  • Provide general administrative support to social workers
  • Be the first point of contact for service users and partner agencies
  • Collate and present service performance data
  • Draft documents, handle enquiries, and support service projects and audits
  • Support service users in accessing appropriate services
Requirements:
  • Strong administrative experience, ideally within children’s services or local government
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Confidence in working with databases and IT systems
  • Experience of minute-taking and managing professional correspondence
