The Role:

  • Serve as a point of contact for customer queries, providing timely and professional support via phone and email
  • Accurately process customer orders, ensuring compliance with stock levels, pricing, and delivery schedules
  • Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to track order status and resolve any issues
  • Raise and manage purchase orders for raw materials, components, and supplies
  • Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery accuracy
  • Monitor stock levels and alert relevant teams to potential shortages or delays
  • Schedule collections and deliveries with logistics providers
  • Prepare delivery documentation (packing lists, labels, shipping notes) as required
  • Track shipments and ensure on-time deliveries to customers and distribution partners
  • Create and maintain product records in ERP or inventory systems
  • Input product specifications, pricing, and categorisation details accurately
  • Support updates to product catalogues, BOMs (bills of materials), and system data as needed

Skills:

  • Prior experience in an administrative, operations, or logistics support role-ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes, order systems, and transport coordination
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Sage)
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
