The Role:
- Serve as a point of contact for customer queries, providing timely and professional support via phone and email
- Accurately process customer orders, ensuring compliance with stock levels, pricing, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to track order status and resolve any issues
- Raise and manage purchase orders for raw materials, components, and supplies
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery accuracy
- Monitor stock levels and alert relevant teams to potential shortages or delays
- Schedule collections and deliveries with logistics providers
- Prepare delivery documentation (packing lists, labels, shipping notes) as required
- Track shipments and ensure on-time deliveries to customers and distribution partners
- Create and maintain product records in ERP or inventory systems
- Input product specifications, pricing, and categorisation details accurately
- Support updates to product catalogues, BOMs (bills of materials), and system data as needed
Skills:
- Prior experience in an administrative, operations, or logistics support role-ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Familiarity with supply chain processes, order systems, and transport coordination
- Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Sage)
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
