Sonic Summary
- My client, an Engineering company based in Worcester (WR4), is looking to recruit a Machine Operator - Deburre on an ongoing temp contract that may lead to a permanent opportunity.
- The position requires a PM shift with hours from Mon-Thurs 1430-2330 and Friday 1430-1800.
- Main responsibilities include hand finishing parts, using gauges and verniers callipers, and operating grit and bead blasting machines.
- Candidates should have previous experience with polishing fettling tools in the casting industry and ideally some experience within the inspection department.
- The pay-rate offered is £13 an hour with a 20% shift allowance, and previous experience in a relevant role is required.
This is a PM shift and the hours required are Mon-Thurs 1430-2330 and Friday 1430-1800
The main responsibilities of the role include
- Follow wok instructions set by Team Leaders
- Hand finish parts using processes such as Linishing, Deburring and Polishing
- Use Gauges and Verniers Callipers to check part dimensions
- Use Grit and Bead Blasting Machines
- Support removal and polishing activities
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
- Previous experience working with Polishing Fettling Tools in the Casting Industry
- Good attention to detail
- Proficient IT skills
- Strong Team Player
- Experience within Inspection Department would be preferred
The pay-rate on offer is £13 an hour with a 20% shift allowance
