Spirehouse are currently supporting a West Midlands based Housing Association in need of a Customer Contact Advisor.

The Opportunity:

My client in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Customer Contact Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term contract with an immediate start available. You will act as the first point of contact for our customers on the telephone and face to face by delivering efficient, courteous, speedy and friendly customer service, providing accurate information and advice to customers on the services we offer, managing site visitors and signing for deliveries.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide relevant accurate and up to date information and advice on services to both customers and colleagues
  • Provide accurate information and advice to customers on the services we offer, such as customers’ rent accounts, the status of repairs and housing benefits queries, as well as information on directions or company contact details
  • Take responsibility for the reception area making sure that any information on display is kept up-to date, and that the area is kept tidy to reflect a high-quality service.
  • Diagnose repairs through appropriate questioning to ensure the correct trade attends with appropriate time allocated and the correct priority given
  • Investigate service requests, including instructing pest control and emergency repairs.
  • Agree and schedule appointments for jobs with customers, ensuring the effective use of engineers who are already in attendance
  • Issue job tickets on reported repairs to contractors or internal inspectors within timescales set in policies and procedures
