Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments in a busy shopping centre, ensuring that all areas are tidy and welcoming. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with both team members and clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including public restrooms, kitchens, walkways, and communal spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as necessary.
- Dispose of waste and recycling materials appropriately.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or malfunctions.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Assist in any additional cleaning tasks as required by management.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Previous experience in a cleaning or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- A valid driver's licence is advantageous for roles requiring travel between sites.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A positive attitude towards work and a commitment to providing excellent service.
Hours of Work
Friday, Saturday and Sunday 13:00-22:00, however flexibility with hours/days is essential and shifts can vary. Guaranteed 24 hours per week!
