Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Accounts Administrator to join our Service / Aftersales Department based in Worcester. This position plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of the Service Accounts team, ensuring accurate billing and excellent customer service across both business and consumer accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Debt Control:
- Contact customers to request and process payments in a professional and efficient manner.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of payment activity and communications.
- Job Report Checking and Billing Creation:
- Review service job reports for accuracy and completeness prior to invoicing.
- Create and issue customer invoices in line with company policies and contractual agreements.
- Investigate and resolve billing queries promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Additional Duties:
- Respond to customer financial queries via phone and email in a professional and courteous manner.
- Process refunds, generate statements, and assist with contract account creation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the Service Accounts team.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Positive outlook with a proactive “can-do” attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial and administrative tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Good standard of English and numeracy skills.
Preferred:
- Financial or accountancy experience is ideal but not essential.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Contract Type: 6-Month Fixed Term Contract (Potential for Extension)
 Working Hours: 40 hours per week – 7:00am to 4:00pm or 8:00am to 5:00pm
 Hourly Rate: £13.99 per hour
 Start Date: As soon as possible
