Payroll AdministratorLocation: WorcesterSalary: £29,000 - £32,000 per annum

Reed Practice is recruiting a Payroll Administrator on behalf of a busy accountancy practice in Worcester. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll services to a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and providing exceptional client support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients with varying pay frequencies (weekly, fortnightly, monthly)
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP)
  • Process starters, leavers, and changes to employee records
  • Administer auto-enrolment pension schemes and liaise with pension providers
  • Submit Real Time Information (RTI) to HMRC and process P32s
  • Prepare and issue payslips, P45s, P60s, and P11Ds
  • Handle client payroll queries and provide expert advice on payroll matters
  • Reconcile payroll reports and assist with payroll-related journal entries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records in line with GDPR
  • Support year-end payroll processes and reporting

The ideal candidate must have the following:

  • Experienced with BrightPay
  • 2+ years of experience in Payroll
  • Experienced in working in an accountancy practice
