Winner Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a primary school based in Worcester town centre. Applicants must be readily available due to the urgency of the position to start immediately on a long term basis. The role will be working as a general TA across KS1 on a full time basis.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Be actively involved in daily routines of classes, groups or individual learners
- Deliver, monitor and record pupil educational programmes, both inside and outside of the classroom
- Support the class teacher in tailoring lesson planning to deliver to the pupils
- Prepare materials and resources for lessons
- Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions
- Attend staff meetings
- Provide classroom cover in the absence of the class teacher
The successful Teaching Assistant will:
- Have a minimum Level 2 qualification, or have a significant number of years experience
- Demonstrate initiative
- Have previous SEN experience
- Ability to work co-operatively with all teaching staff
- Have previous experience working with KS1 pupils
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills
