We are working with a leading bus Company and our engineering teams are working at the forefront of bus technology.
About the Role - Skilled Mechanic (PSV/HGV)
Do you want to be part of our energetic team of HGV/PSV/bus mechanical engineers and maintenance staff repairing our fleet of buses?
The successful candidatewill be responsible for the following duties:
- Diagnose and carry out Bous and coaches vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement
- Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used
- Carry out vehicle servicing and routine vehicle examinations using hand held data capture devices if applicable
- Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair
Location:Worcester
Hours:39 per week on a rotating shift pattern of early and late shifts 5 over 7 days - weekend premium rate for any weekend working
About you
- Do you have at minimum a Level 3 NVQ standard of equivalent qualification as a HGV/PSV or bus mechanic?
- Do you have a flexible approach to working hours?
- A PCV licence is desirable, ability to obtain PCV licence is essential (we will help you obtain this)
- Musthave a valid UK driver's licence
- Experience of working with buses & coaches would be an advantage, but any vehicle mechanic experience will be considered (HGV)
