Permanent - Rotating Shift

Salary - Competitive DOE

A well-established, privately-owned UK manufacturer specialising in plastic and composite components is seeking a skilled Injection Moulding Setter to join its growing production team.

This company is a market leader in contract manufacturing, supplying critical components to sectors including automotive, aerospace, medical, building products, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

 Set, condition, and optimise injection moulding machines

Complete tool changes, including preparation, cleaning, and material setup

Programme and adjust robots and automation cells

Operate and maintain ancillary equipment (dryers, temperature controllers, etc.)

Fault-find and resolve issues in production processes

Support production staff with training and First-Off approvals

Maintain accurate production records and documentation (OEE, tool change sheets, logs)

Ensure a clean and organised working environment in line with 5S standards

Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-efficiency initiatives

Conduct clear and thorough shift handovers

Qualifications/experience

 Experienced working in modern injection moulding environments

IMT Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) - preferred

Skilled in troubleshooting and adjusting moulding conditions

Able to coach apprentices and support junior colleagues

Confident communicator and effective team player

IT literate - comfortable with both paper-based and digital reporting

Motivated, proactive, and improvement-focused

Good knowledge of plastic materials and handling processes

40 hours per week on rotating shifts
