gap technical is proud to be working with a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Multi-Skilled Contract Maintenance Engineer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing engineering team and support critical manufacturing operations with a focus on breakdown response, proactive maintenance, and continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing:* Rapid response to equipment breakdowns* Routine maintenance and problem-solving of recurring faults* Working closely with production teams* Training operators in minor maintenance* Driving down engineering downtime* Ensuring machinery is maintained to a high standard
What we're looking for:* Time-served Engineering Apprenticeship (ideal)* Mechanical bias with multi-skilled ability preferred* Experience in Food / FMCG / Packaging is advantageous* Strong communication and organisational skills
