My client, an Engineering company based in Pershore, is seeking to recruit a Production Engineer on a permanent basis.
The role involves tasks such as working on BOMs and project-related activities, requiring hands-on involvement in production.
Candidates should ideally possess a Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent experience, along with relevant industry experience.
The position offers a salary of up to £32,000 and requires candidates to have experience working within the guidelines of BS EN ISO 9001 and related standards.
Knowledge of lean and six sigma methodologies, as well as experience in Defense, Aerospace, or Rail Industries, is preferred.

My client, an Engineering company based in Pershore is looking to recruit a Production Engineer on a permanent basis.The main tasks associated with this role include working on BOM's and project associated tasks where there will be a requirements for some hands-on involvement in production. The main responsibilities of the role include- identify manufacturing needs for new products and customer orders- ensure all product and system requirements are set-up accordingly- generate production documentation including Work Orders, Kitting lists, and Route Cards- Improve manufacturing efficiency- Carry out FMEA'S - Design fixtures and tooling for assembly tasks- Perform Root Cause Analysis- Interpret Engineering DrawingsAs a suitable candidate you will offer the following- Ideally have a Mechanical Engineering Degree or time served experience- Experience of working within the guidelines of BS EN ISO 9001, 3834, EN 15085, predominantly welding and fabrication- Experience of working with Defense, Aerospace or Rail Industries and application of Def-Stan/Mil-Std and RIS- Knowledge of lean and six sigma methodologiesThe salary on offer is up to £32,000Keywords:Route Cards, Kitting Lists, Works Orders, Production Engineer, FMEA's , Root Cause Analysis,
