AC & Refrigeration Engineer
Location: West Midlands
Salary: Up to 40,000 + excellent package (flexible for the right person)
We are representing a leading facilities management business that works with a wide range of nationally recognised hospitality and retail brands. They are now looking to expand their team of 30+ engineers by appointing an AC & Refrigeration Engineer based in the West Midlands.
The Role
Service, maintenance and repair of small commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, including walk-in fridges/freezers, ice machines, bottle coolers, split systems and VRV/VRF systems.
Regional patch - West Midlands
Paid door-to-door travel.
Core hours: 45 hours (including breaks), with overtime payable after 40 hours.
On-Call & Overtime
1 in 8 standby rota (2pm-10pm during standby week).
Standby retainer: 130 per week / 160 when acting as 3rd man (around every 16 weeks).
Overtime rates: Time and a half after 10pm, double time after midnight.
Minimum 4 hours paid per callout.
The Package
Basic salary up to 40,000 (negotiable depending on experience).
Matched pension up to 7%.
Company van (private use option available).
25 days annual leave.
3x salary death-in-service cover.
Strong overtime and on-call earning potential.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified AC & Refrigeration Engineer with proven experience working on small commercial refrigeration and AC systems.
Based in the West Midlands
