Payroll AdministratorLocation: WorcesterSalary: £29,000 - £32,000 per annum
Reed Practice is recruiting a Payroll Administrator on behalf of a busy accountancy practice in Worcester. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll services to a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and providing exceptional client support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients with varying pay frequencies (weekly, fortnightly, monthly)
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP)
- Process starters, leavers, and changes to employee records
- Administer auto-enrolment pension schemes and liaise with pension providers
- Submit Real Time Information (RTI) to HMRC and process P32s
- Prepare and issue payslips, P45s, P60s, and P11Ds
- Handle client payroll queries and provide expert advice on payroll matters
- Reconcile payroll reports and assist with payroll-related journal entries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records in line with GDPR
- Support year-end payroll processes and reporting
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- Experienced with BrightPay
- 2+ years of experience in Payroll
- Experienced in working in an accountancy practice
