They are one of the largest housing associations in the country. Our client has an immediate opportunity to join their Property Services Team on an initial temporary basis. The successful applicants will provide administrative support to the Mechanical and Electrical Team. Duties:
  1. Support the management and maintenance of relationships with internal and external stakeholders, residents, and contractors, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and escalating where appropriate.
  2. Support the arranging of meetings including attendance, information preparation, minute taking and follow up administration, to ensure effective organisation and record keeping.
  3. Contribute, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Group's values and objectives.
  4. Provide an effective and efficient administration service ensuring provision of services, in line with policies, procedures and relevant regulations.
  5. Maintain effective database records and processes to ensure the accurate recording and timely provision of information ensuring they are as user friendly and accessible as possible.
  6. Assist in the production of quality information to support the monitoring of compliance with regulations and service standards and enable statutory and performance reporting
 Requirements:Essential:
  • Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads, both for self and others
  • Literacy and numeracy equivalent to grade C, GCSE English and Maths
  • Some experience of resolving problems
  • Good understanding of written and spoken English
  • Good organisational and planning skills
  • Works well within a team based environment
  • Ability to extract and interrogate data from computer systems
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel
  • Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Email and internet communications
 Desirable:
  • Recent experience of undertaking a similar role
  • NVQ3 in relevant area (e.g. business administration, customer service)
  • Some experience of producing and analysing quality statistical information
  • Ability to use and update computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling
  • Basic knowledge of SAP housing management system or similar
  • Basic knowledge of asset management systems
