This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults with autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions to live fulfilling lives.About the Role:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults with neurodevelopmental conditions, identifying their needs and developing person-centered support plans.
  • Provide direct support and guidance to individuals and their families, empowering them to manage challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency partners (health professionals, housing providers, support organizations) to coordinate care and resources.
  • Advocate for the rights and needs of neurodivergent adults, promoting inclusion and understanding.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of services for neurodivergent adults within Worcestershire.
  • Manage a caseload effectively, balancing competing priorities and ensuring timely interventions.

Requirements:

  • Registered with Social Care England.
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a qualified Social Worker. Experience working with adults with neurodevelopmental conditions is highly desirable.
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and case management skills.
  • Strong understanding of autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with neurodivergent individuals and their families.
  • Commitment to person-centered practice and ethical standards.
