An established engineering and manufacturing business is seeking anOperations Support Coordinatorto support day-to-day logistics, stock control, and operational administration. This role works closely with warehouse, sales, and operations teams to ensure efficient and accurate business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational and logistics support across the business.
- Book goods into stock and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Assist with stock control and stock management activities.
- Book outbound deliveries and coordinate with couriers and freight providers.
- Chase suppliers regarding lead times, deliveries, and outstanding purchase orders.
- Carry out price checking and support cost-control activities.
- Prepare, check, and maintain operational and job documentation.
- Provide administrative support to operations and warehouse management.
- Liaise with internal teams to support smooth workflow between sales, logistics, and operations.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in an operations support, logistics, warehouse, or administrative role.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple teams.
- Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
