I'm currently working with a market-leading manufacturing business based in Worcestershire that's looking to bring a Software Developer into their growing digital team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that's actively investing in its tech stack and digital transformation.

You'll be joining a strong, collaborative development team and will report directly to the IT Director, giving you clear communication lines and visibility into business priorities. The platform you'll be working on is one of the company's core digital products, built on Laravel and Vue.js, and hosted on Google Cloud.

?? What You'll Be Doing:
  • Developing new features and enhancements to improve user experience and platform functionality

  • Maintaining and optimising existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability

  • Testing rigorously and taking part in peer code reviews to ensure code quality

  • Resolving technical challenges, both independently and as part of the dev team

  • Supporting the business by addressing technical issues and helping resolve platform-related queries

? What You'll Need:
  • Solid experience with PHP and the Laravel framework

  • Strong front-end skills with Vue.js

  • Proficient with MySQL and database optimisation

  • Confident using Git and GitHub workflows

  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and good communication skills

Experience with Google Cloud Platform is advantageous, but not essential if you're eager to learn.
