Juice Cheltenham is delighted to be supporting a fantastic organisation in their search for a Travel Sales Consultant. This role offers remote working, with 1 day a month working in my clients office.

My client is a growing travel company and they are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Travel Sales Consultant to join its expanding team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about customer service and travel, with the ability to manage bookings, support sales operations, and communicate effectively with both travelers and travel agents. The Reservations Coordinator will be a key point of contact for clients, ensuring a smooth and professional customer experience from inquiry through to booking.

Day to Day

  • Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for all traveler inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, ensuring high-quality service and a positive customer experience.
  • Travel Agent Support: Communicate confidently with U.S.-based travel agents to promote products, support onboarding, and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Booking Management: Process and manage traveler bookings with a high degree of accuracy, and provide timely follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Sales Support: Assist the Sales Manager and broader sales team with administrative tasks, overflow inquiries, and maintaining efficient sales operations.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle customer concerns or issues professionally and promptly, working to resolve problems and support a smooth travel experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s travel offerings and services to provide accurate and helpful information to travelers.
  • Reporting & Feedback: Share customer insights, service challenges, and potential opportunities with the sales leadership team on a regular basis.
  • Brand Representation: Act as a positive representative of the company and its mission, offering empathetic support to travelers, especially those new to solo or group travel.

We Would Love to See

  • Customer Service Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing or reservations support role, preferably in travel, hospitality, or tourism.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a warm and confident approach to building rapport and trust.
  • Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using booking systems, CRM platforms, and general office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
  • Attention to Detail: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple bookings and tasks without compromising on accuracy.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with a wider remote team.
  • Passion for Travel: Enthusiasm for the travel industry and an interest in helping others plan meaningful travel experiences.
