In this role you will be fully off the tools, and receive full teacher training to step into a new career. You will directly support students to show them the ropes of Welding and Fabrication and aid their development.

This role would suit a Welder/Fabricator looking to come off the tools, receive full teacher training and benefit from fantastic benefits including 55 days holiday.The Role:

  • Provide apprenticeship Welding and Fabrication education and training to a range of different students
  • Supporting students providing in depth and demonstratable knowledge in welding, fabrication or CNC Machining
  • Contribute to the delivery and monitoring of course modules and planning and development of modules and units
  • Undertake research, development and ensure materials are up to date to contribute to the continuous improvement strategy
  • Ensure learners achieve agreed academic targets by providing defined programs and learning opportunities
  • 23.5 hours teaching per week with 15.5 hours administration and development time
