This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's leading technical education providers. With growing demand for skilled engineers and major investment in facilities and apprenticeships, this organisation is expanding its delivery team - and is now looking for a passionate industry professional to join as a Pipefitting & Welding Trainer.
You'll be based in a modern, well-equipped workshop, delivering hands-on training to apprentices working toward Level 3 qualifications in Pipefitting and Welding. You don't need to have taught before - just the experience, people skills, and desire to help others succeed. Full teacher training and ongoing support will be provided.
Whether your background is in pipefitting, fabrication, or welding, this is a rare chance to move into a meaningful, rewarding role with long-term stability and outstanding benefits.
The Role:
- Deliver practical training sessions in pipefitting
- Coach and support apprentices working toward engineering qualifications
- Contribute to the development of workshop tasks and learning materials
- 37 hours/week - Monday to Friday
The Person:
- Background in Pipefitting, Welding, or Industrial Plumbing
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline
- Confident communicator who enjoys coaching and mentoring
- No teaching experience required - full training provided
