Machine Operative
We are currently recruiting a Machine Operative to join a local employee-owned company in Worksop who are expanding their production workforce due to continued growth. This is a great opportunity to secure a long-term role with progression opportunities and the chance to become multi-skilled across departments.
Main Duties:
- Always follow health and safety rules, including wearing the correct PPE
- Follow instructions, product specifications, and moulding process documents
- Open moulds, remove finished products, set up new moulds, and close them correctly
- Use jigs to handle and trim products to the required standard
- Operate ovens used in the moulding process
- Locate and use raw materials for moulding
- Maintain high standards of quality for products and equipment during moulding, finishing, and storage
- Keep the work area and factory clean, tidy, and safe
- Complete paperwork as required during the moulding process
- Communicate effectively with managers, team leaders, and co-workers to ensure smooth operations
- Train or support colleagues in moulding processes if required
- Assist other team members during downtime (setups, breakdowns, shutdowns) to maintain workflow

Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using hand and power tools
Hours & Pay:
- 27,872 per annum
- Monday to Friday, working on a Days/Nights/Afters rotation
