Reed - Further Education are seeking a Electrical Installation Lecturer to teach on Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installation Courses. This will be with post 16 students.

What’s the day-to-day responsibilities of an Electrical Installation Lecturer?

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Electrical Installation lessons to learners at Level 2 and Level 3 level.
  • Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the needs of learners
  • Assess and provide feedback on student progress
  • Support learners in achieving their educational goals
  • Ensure compliance with all college policies and procedures
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience

What are the required skills and qualifications needed for this role?

  • PGCE / Cert Ed / PTLLS or other teaching qualification
  • At least L3 in Electrical Installation or similar discipline
  • Recent experience of working in the industry
  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners to achieve their optimum
  • Exceptional verbal /written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of current teaching practices and experience of utilising a range of teaching practices to enhance learner journey and progression
