A client based in Worthing is recruiting for a part-time Accounts/Bookkeeper candidate to join the Finance Team. This position is work 12/15 hours per week, the ideal candidate will be able to work the hours over 3 or 4 days, however the client will be flexible. The full time salary offered for this role will be paying up to £27,000 depending on experience - Pro-rata for part-time hours.
Main responsibilities
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Daily inputting purchase invoices to Xero
- Daily processing Credit Card Transactions to Xero through Dext software
- Monthly Credit card reconciliations
- Preparing weekly CPD invoices
- Preparing monthly sales invoices ready for review
- Ad hoc duties as required by Finance Director and Management Accountant
Key Requirements
- A confident, can-do approach to all aspects of work
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience of Xero accounting software
- Experience of Dext software is beneficial, but not essential
- Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Outlook and Windows
- Experience of working in an SME
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
