Cover Supervisor

Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £90 - £130 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 8:00am – 3:30pm
Contract Type: Long-Term Full-Time (potential to become permanent)

Supply Desk are working closely with a Secondary School based in Worthing that is seeking a full-time Cover Supervisor to start in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals interested in education and pursuing a career in teaching.

The role will involve covering a range of subjects including Maths, History, and Geography across Key Stage 3 and 4. You will need to be adaptable, confident in classroom management, and ideally have recent experience in a similar role.

The school is open to non-qualified teachers who have relevant experience and a degree. Strong classroom presence and a passion for working with secondary school students are essential.

• Mixed Secondary School for students aged 11 to 16

• Approximately 800 students

• Can confidently cover lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Hold a DBS on the Update Service (or are willing to obtain one)

• Have relevant teaching experience or a background working in education
