HR Director (Fixed Term Contract - 6 Months)

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Align HR strategies with business priorities, providing senior business partner support to the leadership team.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with the leadership team, acting as a confident mentor and coach.
  • Employee Relations Expert: Oversee complex Employee Relations issues, offering strategic guidance to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  • Project Management: Lead large-scale HR projects, supporting M&A activity, and driving operational efficiency and organisational effectiveness.
  • Talent Management Champion: Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management and succession planning processes.
  • Policy Development: Review and update HR policies, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • HR Analytics: Leverage data to assess and optimise HR programmes, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Engagement & Culture: Drive initiatives to enhance employee experience and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Extensive HR Experience: Both UK and international HR experience with experience of leading a HR team across Europe/EMEA.
  • Strong Leadership: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to inspire and engage at all levels of the organisation.
  • Analytical Mindset: Capability to analyse data, identify problems and develop effective solutions.
  • HR Knowledge: Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Talent Management Expertise: Proven experience in recruitment, hiring, and employee development.
  • Conflict Resolution Skills: Ability to mediate and resolve disputes effectively.
  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of organisational goals and how HR can support them.
  • Proficiency in a second European language would be an advantage.
  • MCIPD (L7 CIPD) is preferred
