Description
- Manage and administer a variety of trusts, ensuring compliance with legal and tax obligations.
- Prepare and submit tax returns for trusts and individuals, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide expert advice on inheritance tax planning and related matters.
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, and other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and apply this knowledge to client cases.
- Assist with the preparation of accounts and financial statements for trusts.
- Support junior team members and contribute to their professional development.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
Profile
A successful Trust Accountant professional should have:
- A strong understanding of trust administration and tax compliance within the professional services sector.
- Experience working within an accounting and finance team.
- Relevant qualifications in tax or accounting (e.g., ATT, CTA, or equivalent).
