What You’ll Do
As a Youth Worker with Nurseplus, you’ll make a meaningful difference by supporting children and young adults through a range of complex and challenging circumstances. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct support to young people facing issues such as risk of homelessness, mental health concerns, or seeking asylum.
- Encouraging and promoting independent living by developing life skills and confidence.
- Building trusting relationships to offer emotional and practical support tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborating with social workers, mental health professionals, and other agencies to ensure coordinated care.
- Supporting young people in accessing education, training, or employment opportunities.
What We Need From You
- Must be aged 25 and over
- Previous experience and/or qualifications working with children desirable
- The right to work in the UK.
- A good standard of English and effective communication skills.
- Must be a driver with a valid driving license
