Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a creative and passionate Art Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school located near Stroud, South Gloucestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant and forward-thinking educational setting, with the role expected to run for three terms, and potential for extension.

- Contract Type: Full-time, temporary (three terms)
- Salary: MPS/UPS - dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive Art lessons across Key Stages
- Plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum that fosters creativity and technical skill
- Teach a variety of artistic disciplines, including:
- Drawing and Painting
- Sculpture and 3D Design
- Printmaking
- Photography and Digital Media
- Art History and Critical Studies
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to the development of a dynamic and ambitious Art department
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design
- Confident in delivering a range of artistic techniques and media
- Passionate about inspiring students and nurturing their creative potential
- Skilled at engaging learners of all abilities
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
