Art Teacher

Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a creative and passionate Art Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school located near Stroud, South Gloucestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant and forward-thinking educational setting, with the role expected to run for three terms, and potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive Art lessons across Key Stages
  • Plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum that fosters creativity and technical skill
  • Teach a variety of artistic disciplines, including:
    • Drawing and Painting
    • Sculpture and 3D Design
    • Printmaking
    • Photography and Digital Media
    • Art History and Critical Studies
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the development of a dynamic and ambitious Art department
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment

Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design
  • Confident in delivering a range of artistic techniques and media
