Operational Prison Support

Location: HMP Leyhill

Shift Pattern: Part-time, 22hrs hour per week Wednesday to Friday [Wednesday and Thursday 7.30am to 5pm, Fridays would be 7.30am to 4.30pm]


Hourly rate: 12.98 per hour, increasing up to 17.26 per hour weekdays overtime and 22.71 per hour weekends overtime

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage entry/exit and searches at the gate
  • Escort contractors, vehicles, and prisoners
  • Monitor CCTV, report suspicious activity
  • Process visitors and oversee mail censorship
  • Assist with prisoner processing and food delivery
